Francuski hleb isečemo na kolutove debljine 1 cm pa ga prepečemo da postane hrskav.
Pripremamo sos tako što 100 g majoneza pomešamo sa 3 sitno seckana kisela krastavčića i dodamo malo bibera.
Prethodno skuvano ili pečeno belo meso (najbolje ako je ostatak od bogatog obroka) sečemo na tanke trake i rasporedimo po brusketima od hleba.
Preko svakog parčeta stavimo kašičicu sosa od majoneza, pospemo malo usitnjenog bosiljka i zapečemo na 250 stepeni, 5 minuta na visini najbližoj gornjem grejaču.
Služimo kao predjelo ili kao male koktel-zalogaje.
